Hope your all doing well. I know this is nothing beauty or fashion related but I wanted to tell you all on how we prepared our Parents wedding anniversary you might find some tips and tricks on how me and my siblings prepared my parents surprise wedding anniversary party (they might come in handy some time).
They have been married for (masha'Allah) 25 years. So me and my siblings decided to throw them a surprise 25th silver party however, we had to tell someone between both of them. And so we told our mum that we were throwing a party but she did not know anything else.
We had many things to prepare for but, there were a few things which needed to get sorted out the first week of January.
So first thing was the restaurant where we would go and eat, I knew from before hand that a lot of restaurants expect to pre-book for a big occasion with loads of people who will attend. We had a few restaurants in mind, however, we wanted to have a variety of foods. So we got in contact with Buffet restaurants as they would usually serve food for everyone, its not limited. Cake wasn't to much hassle, as we order the cake a week before the party.
So we put down a deposit for a Buffet Restaurant in Birmingham. The next thing which we needed to find was our outfits, so we had some outfits which we hadn't wore before and needed our scarf's for the outfits, and we brought the scarf's for them.
My mums outfit we had started looking for as soon as we put a deposit for the restaurant. And my dad would wear a suit on, we just needed a new tie and shirt for him. And my brother order his outfit on-line which was delivered to him a week before the party.
Because we knew that it was our parent's 25 anniversary we decided that we were going to make a video reminiscing their childhood, their wedding, when they had all of us all the way up till now. So we had started with all the photo and video research early December, gathering it up and adding it onto windows movie maker, every week, saying that it took almost 2 and a half months to complete the whole video.
For the stage or background we got our cousins to help us with that as, I didn't have any accessories to use to make a background and I didn't know how to decorate it.
