Nephew haqeeqa

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are all good. My cousin had a baby during the start of this month, and well, over the weekend we had a haqeeqa for the baby boy. I didn't take many pictures but, I will share one photo.

My intention for this post was to make you all aware what the importance of a haqeeqa is. So a haqeeqa is when a sheep or animal is sacrificed in regards to the child. Some, scholars believe it is obligatory while others say it is a Sunnah, (something which is followed because of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.) Anyway, for a boy it is 2 sheeps sacrificed and for a girl one sheep. The meat is given to family, friends and relatives. And a good amount is also given to the poor.

Below is what I wore on the Haqeeqa party,

I hope you enjoyed this post keep coming every week to have a look at something new.

Mum and Dad Wedding Anniversary

Hiya Beauties,

It was my Mum and Dad wedding anniversary over the weekend and its been masha'Allah 25 years that they have been married for. So me and my brother and sisters decided to throw them a surprise party (as you guys already know we did, because of the previous post) we did this on the 1st February my mum had a slight idea of what we were going to do but my dad had no idea, which he was not pleased with at all as he doesn't like surprises. Anyway, we had organised the party at Lazzat Buffet Restaurant which is located on the Coventry Road, Birmingham. There service and food was absolutely amazing. (Would totally suggest this restaurant to everyone I know)

As well as this we got balloons from the card factory, as its just an anniversary I brought six helium latex balloons.

I had two cousins who helped put the background up which made the photos even more amazing. I was also lucky enough for my cousin to take us some amazing photos with his professional photo camera, and we recorded the whole thing using my sisters camera a Canon.

I had created a video for my mum and dad which included their childhood all the way till now including ,bits of their marriage too. This did bring tears to my parents eyes as we discovered some of their old photos with their parents.

We got this delicious cake made from Nafees Bakers, it was icing and the best sponge cake.

Okay enough with my essay of what I did, now have a look at some of the photos, I'm afraid I will need to crop and blur my family members out as I know blogging is international, by the way I can see everyone who is reading my blog :P

Cake when my parents got by the seating to cut the cake we lit these candles.
My mum and dad entering the Resturant... My mum wore South Asian clothes - Shalwar Kameez and my dad wore a Suit.

Another picture whilst the were walking in

A picture of us in posing before they cut the cake.

This my youngest sister made for my mum and dad, it was a Groom and Bride.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I am sorry but I don't feel comfortable putting up pics of myself but these were a few pics which I thought looked good and I personally liked a lot.
