Coconut Oil tips and uses

Hello Beautiful people,

Okay, so I've been extremely lazy/busy over the past two months and I was unable to post much on here and my Facebook fan page. Believe me I haven't forgotten you all.

So I am now back at University, it's my second week back and I can't believe I'm a second year student. Next summer I would officially become a graduate.

Okay now back to what I was going to post. Today I wanted to share the speciality of Coconut Oil, we at home love this beautiful bliss by God. So I'm going to give you a list of 20 things that it is useful for (something I might not necessarily use it for but you could try it).

If you buy original coconut oil, you wouldn't be
able to get it as a oil, it would look like this.
When you warm the bottle because you can't
obviously get the block out so you have to
warm the bottle on the stove, the oil would
gradually come back down.

1. Apply to dry hair, and leave it in as long as you can. Once the oil has been on for a bit wash it normally with shampoo.

2. Pour some in a small tub/container and uses as a daily lip moisturiser (this works wonders especially in the winter)

3. Use it as an underarm deodorant. Now with this I usually would suggest to wipe the underarm so it's dry and then get some oil on the fingertips and just pat it on the underarm.

4. Use as a make up remover. As this has no chemicals its brilliant to wipe make up. (usually you can get way with any oil to wipe away make up)

5. Use to reduce stretch marks. Coconut oil is really good to reduce stretch marks.

6. You could use it as a sun cream/sun screen. (I am not entirely sure about this. I'm sure if someone sat with oil on they would bake)

7. Apply a small amount on cracked or rough heels to smooth them out.

8. Rub a tiny bit of coconut oil on the inside of the nostrils. This actually helps with runny nose, any allergies and also sore nostrils.

9. Use as a mascara cleanser.

10. Use on eyelashes to strengthen them out.

11. Apply small oil on a cotton bud and apply it to spots or acne

12. Massage on to hands, too moisten and help with hangnails and ingrown nails, especially good for winter times.

13. It is also safe for pregnant women to help with stretch marks

14. Could be applied to fresh tattoos in healing them

15. You could use it to prep and remove excess wax off the skin

16. Mix a small quantity with oat meal and cinnamon for a face scrub

17. Pour a little amount on chewing gum which has got stuck to shoes, carpets, or any hard to reach areas

18. Instead of applying chemicals on fresh plants to give them healthy nutrients, either put it on a cloth and wipe each leaf or pour in a spray bottle

19. Put some on a cloth to polish the inside of a car interior

20. And finally, when kitchen scissors get sticky wipe it with a bit of coconut oil.

Thank you for reading and enjoying my post on coconut oil, I would just like to leave a disclaimer that what might work for me would not necessarily work for you. If you are going to try any of the tips above I would suggest you try it on a small area in case any damage is caused.

I hope you try some of these tips out and do let me know whether it worked for you or not. Do like my +Facebook+ Fan Page and follow me on +Google+ and +Instagram (by the way if you hover over and click on the blue links it would allow you to get following me)
